Love, Trafford

Love, Trafford was a socially engaged photography project led by artist Sophie Mahon in 2022, commissioned by BlueSci at the Old Trafford Wellbeing Centre and supported by Arts Council England.

In collaboration with BlueSci service users through creative workshops and photo walks using analogue cameras, the group documented their everyday experiences, capturing the spirit of their neighbourhood and the Wellbeing Centre itself. Fostering creativity and connection to support mental health and well-being in the community.

A full collection of images can be seen on permanent display at the Old Trafford Wellbeing Centre. This website aims to serve as a digital archive for the project, showcasing the collective journey and stories and celebrating the diverse communities of Old Trafford.
